An Evening of Music feat. Lindsey Buckingham

Nashville Scene Critic's Pick …

So maybe genre-bending electronic dance anthems are not for you. How about an intimate evening with the architect behind some of Fleetwood Mac’s highest-charting hits instead? Most fans are familiar with Buckingham’s work as detailed flesh on a skeleton constructed by his bandmates, but this one-man show (a gift to all who missed his recent sold-out appearance at the Franklin Theatre) sees him strip compositions down to the barest elements. Beyond his skill as a guitarist, Buckingham is renowned for his songwriting and intuitive record production: He is generally credited with a significant influence on the band’s epochal multi-platinum album Rumours and wrote its lead single, “Go Your Own Way,” as well as more than half of its follow-up, Tusk. Whether he digs into his own solo catalog or sticks to the biggest hits, audiences can expect a peek at the creative processes of one of the great pop masterminds of the past 50 years.
