The Queers w/Random Conflict, Blooddrunk Shenanigans & The Commonwealth of American Natives

When The Queers released “I Can’t Stop Farting,” we thought it was one of the most brilliant, hilarious songs ever — it was our mantra as 14-year-old boys. Now that we’re in our 30s, well, it’s still our mantra — but now we realize that it’s more of a medical issue that makes social situations awkward. (Apologies to anyone we crop-dusted last weekend!) And like those farts of yore, The Queers ain’t stopping — these New Hampshire punks have been at it for 30 years, and they’re just as belligerent as they were during the Reagan era. 2010’s Back to The Basement album — featuring snotty anthems like “I Knew GG When He Was a Wimp,” “Don’t Touch My Hat” and “Outta My Skull” — is a bold declaration that punk’s not dead. It’s just old and kind of cranky.
