Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Presented by the Hallmark Channel

Nashville Scene Critic's Pick …

Enough with the sedate tidings of comfort and joy: With all the subtlety of Clark Griswold’s Christmas tree, Trans-Siberian Orchestra brings a Titanic-size sleigh of holiday cheer back to Bridgestone. Your neighbor synchronized his outdoor light show to one of their songs because TSO’s pop-metal originals and interpretations of Yuletide favorites are specially engineered to support an epic multimedia spectacle. Expect a dazzling light show with lasers, multiple rotating LED walls, and pyrotechnics on both the stage and the guitar fretboard, as the veteran group debuts the live presentation of its 2004 album The Lost Christmas Eve. This fall, the group released an EP, Dreams of Fireflies (On a Christmas Night), a free download of which comes with every non-scalped ticket purchase. The most popular viral YouTube video of music-synced Christmas lights features “Wizards in Winter,” a track from Lost Christmas Eve — here’s your chance to see what they do with the song on a mega-budget, and maybe get a head start on next year’s yard display.
