An Evening of Music feat. The Amazing Rhythm Aces

Singer-Songwriter
Nashville Scene Critic's Pick …

It’s no secret that we’re big fans of ABC’s soaped-up version of our fair city, and we’re totally pulling for a second season. Except we’d like to see a few things happen first — you know, for realism. On our list: 1) Rayna needs to get blackout drunk at a Guilty Pleasures show. 2) Deacon needs to start shooting lasers from his eyes. Finally, 3) Scarlett needs to have a total meltdown and start dating one of the weirdos from the local noise scene. And when they have that glorious “I love you!” “No I don’t!” tete-a-tete, The Most Amazing Century of Science should be playing in the background. The Spike Jonze-meets-Spazz cartoon-power-violence of The MACOS has been popping up on the scene for years, and it would be only proper to include it in the big show. Until then, we’ll gladly settle for having The MACOS score our awkward, overly romantic, under-televised moments in person.
