If you like hard hitting rock trios then you'll love The Wans. With hints from the 60's all the way to the 90's they've formed their own sound. With Mark Petaccia's thunderous drums, Noah Denney's monsterous bass, and Simon Kerr's droning guitars it makes up for quite a loud trio. The trio recently finished their record and are extremely excited to share it in the next few weeks.
The Wans picked up their name from Simon's hometown in Ireland. Simon explains it as an "everyday slang term in Derry, Northern Ireland." He goes on to say, "It pretty much means 'The Ones', but the way it's spelled is the way it's pronounced in an Irish accent. So everyone has to pronounce it that way. I find it funny listening to Americans speaking with Irish accent. I may be the only one who finds it funny, but what the hell! All that matters to us is that the songs are solid and the music is rocking."
