Formed in Austin, Texas in 1994 to provide an alternative to Alternative Rock by playing tight little two-minute rock 'n' roll songs with a stripped-down instrumentation (snare drum and hand percussion Vs. the standard 5-piece drum kit) which allowed them to channel Bo Diddley and Motown simultaneously. Played first gig opening for Spoon (who also played the Million Sellers' first record release party and who have been known to cover their song "Mary Roachford" in concert) at the Austin Outhouse that Summer. Put out a couple of 4-song 7" vinyl ep's on the Wanda label which were well-received. Also landed spots on several compilation CD's, including a couple out of Sweden.
