Chris Scruggs is a singer, songwriter, musician and recording artist from Nashville, Tennessee. Growing up in a musical family, the young Scruggs spent his childhood on tour buses and backstage at places like the Grand Ole Opry.
In 2002, at the age of 17 he joined the pioneering Americana band BR549 as a guitarist and lead singer, making a name for himself around the world. After leaving the group in 2005 to focus on his own career, he released his first official solo record "Anthem" in 2009.
With a new record finished and scheduled for a 2012 release, Chris is hitting the road (thanks to the good folks at Keith Case and Associates) and touring with his band, taking his all encompassing brand of "Tennessee Music" with him everywhere he goes.
