Welcome to “Nick’s Space”. Im a professional Musician, Entertainer, and seeking to be professional Songwriter who has been Performing and Ministering professionally, and most importantly, Writing for about 25 years now, still looking for my first big break as a Writer/Artist in the music business! Had the good fortune of opening for such major acts as T.G Sheppard, Gene Watson, and O.B. McClinton, and The Masters 5. I started writing while attending Clemson University, and have had numerous songs pitched to such artists as Travis Tritt, Ronnie Milsap, Tricia Yearwood, Jamie O’Neal, Lee Greenwood, and Clay Walker, not to mention the ones I don’t even know about. Had a ton of songs put on hold, but I’m still looking to get that first one “licensed”! My style of writing includes Country, Pop, Contemporary Christian and Jazz, as well as Christmas songs. I’ve performed in coffee houses to packed arenas, and now I spend most of my time performing at business functions for fortune 500 companies, Private Weddings and parties, and sharing my faith in churches through song ministry. I play both guitar and keyboards

Irene Rose
CountryArtist Bio:
Singer/songwriter Irene Rose Smith is an 8th generation South Carolinian who cherishes her southern roots and Christian heritage. Her music is a soundtrack of the south as she wistfully sings about family, small towns, sweet tea, grits and God. Starting young on the piano, in high school Irene was ready for something different. At 17, a family friend gave her a classical guitar as a Christmas present. Though she had never played before, two days later she had written her first song and hasn't looked back since. Irene Rose excelled in many state and national fine arts competitions from childhood throughout high school studying under various instructors and multiple choirs. After outgrowing Charleston Children's Chorus under director Jean Breza, Irene combined with her two sisters Christal and Lydia forming the accapella group, "The Threefold Chord." The girls sang at various churches, weddings, parties, business functions, Christmas shows, community events, and political functions. As a high school junior, Irene sang with Bel Canto, the ladies vocal ensemble at Charleston Southern University. In college, Irene won her university's version of American Idol twice, sang at multiple school functions, and frequented Overflow coffee house. She sang entertainment numbers for both Mr. and Miss CSU pageants. When B92 radio station sponsored a talent search in Summerville, Irene was a top finalist. She has been offered record deals with a few different labels, but is currently unsigned. Irene graduated from Charleston Southern University in December 2007. She then studied in Auckland, New Zealand at a creative and performing arts school through Youth With A Mission. She wrote and performed original music for her teamâÃÂÃÂs production touring throughout New Zealand, Thailand, China, and Hong Kong. After returning to Charleston in September 2008, Irene recorded an EP CD at Awendaw Green and continues to play more shows in the Charleston area. She was featured at Rocktoberfest at Awendaw Green and frequently performs at the venueâÃÂÃÂs barn jams. Irene and sister Lydia entertained Summerville crowds at the Flowertown Festival and the Sunset Serenade opening for the Summerville Community Orchestra. Her song "Blood, Sweat, and Tears," is featured on the South Carolina Songwriter's Guild Gospel CD that was released this Easter. She has even branched out of her usual folk genre and collaborated on a hip hop album. Irene is currently continuing to record and collaborate with local musicians, while her repertoire of original music continues to increase.
