Christy Schmidt
Artist Bio:
I’m Christy Schmidt. I’m 16, and I sing, play guitar, and write songs. It’s pretty much all I do. I really don’t do anything else. I play with my dog occasionally but that’s pretty much it. I’ve been singing for pretty much my entire life, and I taught myself guitar when I was 8 after my parents bought me a $25 guitar in Tijuana, Mexico. I learned basic chords using an Avril Lavigne music book. When I asked for an electric guitar for my 9th birthday, my parents were hesitant because they thought it was just a phase I was going through and that I would get bored of it. Well I haven’t stopped since, so I guess I proved them wrong :) I began performing anywhere I could-farmers markets, fairs, malls, parties, etc. I wrote my first song when I was 10 about a mean girl at my school. After that I continued to write songs, only to help myself through hard situations. I never thought anyone would hear them, so I really just wrote for myself. When I was 15, I finally gained the courage to share my songs with my friends and family, and eventually posted them on YouTube. I started sending emails to anyone in the music industry I could get a hold of (producers, studio musicians, managers). Most of them said they would produce me if I paid them loads of money, which wasn’t exactly plentiful at the time. I eventually came in contact with Chris McHugh (Keith Urban’s drummer), who played my stuff for Dann Huff (who produces Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Hunter Hayes, and more) and BMG (a publishing company). I came out to Nashville to meet with them, and I signed a publishing deal with BMG and a production/development deal with Chris and Dann. I moved to Nashville in July 2012, and I love it so much. It’s the greatest place in the entire world. I’m currently in the process of recording an album (Chris and Dann being my co-producers), and I’m so thankful to have the opportunity to write with so many talented songwriters here in Nashville. I can’t wait to see what the future holds. Well, that’s my story. If you read all that, you’re awesome. :) Check my blog (aka the home page) for more updates!

Steve Lester
Singer-SongwriterArtist Bio:
When charming wit meets musical prowess, Steve Lester is the outcome. Known not only for his powerful voice and soulful delivery, Steve’s engaging personality and on stage antics are equally impressive.
A student of soul pioneers and classic crooners, Steve strives to sustain that certain "class" to his sound and bring it back to the forefront of modern day music. While these elements are present, the true beauty lies within his lyrics. Originally strictly a songwriter, Steve’s transition in to a performing artist has been seamless. Taking the time to perfect his songwriting has allowed him the opportunity to find his true voice and niche as an artist. His number one goal as an artist and songwriter is to establish a real connection with his listeners. Few songwriters can capture the emotions of heartache and redemption like Steve Lester. It is his intention to provide meaningful songs that will stand the test of time by singing directly to the heart.

Johnny Ray Hafner
CountryArtist Bio:
A little about Southern Yankee, For most of my life I've been intrested in the South and the Civil War. And it pains me deeply that we fought and killed one another, brother against brother,Father against son, and so on and so on. More men died in the Civil War, than any other war we have fought since, combined!! and to this day there are still wounds that have not yet healed. and for some,it never will. Some pepole think the war was over one thing and one thing only, Slavery. When in fact, there were many reasons. but over the years it has been instilled in our minds that the Civil War was over freeing the Slaves, which is simply not true. There were many political reason, and some of greed. The Rebel Flag over the years has gotten a bad reputaion, and has been blemished. From a few stupid groups that claim it as there own. Forgotten are those who died with pride, they were all Americans. Divided was a Country, who fought for their belivifs and there rights. Which is the very thing we fight for today There are Hunderds of Thousands who died with Honor and pride. The Rebel Flag is threr haritage,as the American Flag is ours. One nation, under God,with liberty and justice for all. I for one will not disrespect a mans haritage,or his belivifs. For I as an American, would fight and die for mine!! We are all brothers, all races, all colors. It is high time that we come together as a pepole, for the pepole Nothing can change all of the travisty of the past, But we can change the fuiture. Thank you,Johnny Ray Hafner-Southern Yankee Singer/song writter, spent some time in Nashville, going back soon. Playin' in bars for over 12 years. just writtin' and beatin' on this ol' guitar hope that you like what you hear

Harold Allen
CountryArtist Bio:
I was born Harold Allen Barnard II outside the quiet little town of Peru, NE. Raised on old-school country like Waylon, Willie, Johnny, and the rest of the boys along with plenty of good classic rock. I try and write songs that everyone can relate to. I love the power of a good slow, sad country song and the way a crowd responds to fun drinking songs. For the last few years I was part of the country duo Zygo & The Deuce. The band split up after our second studio album because of creative differences. The songs posted are off the first two studio releases "From the Road" and "One Turn of the Hourglass". The songs posted here are songs that I wrote. Both albums are available on itunes. I'm planning a new studio project later this year. Stay tuned for updates. I'm starting over and finding my way again. Want to come along for the ride? Peace and love, Harold Allen

Dean Meadows
Country, Singer-SongwriterArtist Bio:
The radio was always blaring at the Meadows’ home off that dirt road in southern West Virginia… everything from Charlie Pride and John Denver to Motown and gospel influenced young Dean growing up. At age 10 he would play the drums in church- that good ole gospel music at revivals- and then go home and rock out to rock bands . In high school he overheard his grandfather in Connecticut playing an Alabama record- “Mountain Music”…intrigued by the country lyrics Dean decided there and then that this was the music he wanted to play. At 19 he traded his drums for a guitar, and started writing songs. He spent the next few years gigging over a thousand shows at coffee houses, county fairs, and honkytonks- testing out his original tunes in front of live audiences and living the dream of being a traveling singer/songwriter. Still, Dean needed to secure a “day job”, and began working in the telecommunications field, which, by good fortune, landed him in Nashville, Tennessee. Performing nightly in Nashville’s famous “lower Broadway” clubs taught Dean how to connect with his audience with a high-energy show that featured many of his own impassioned compositions.
Dean just completed his debut CD, showcasing his unique writing and gravel and mollases voice. Incuding the award winning song "5 Oclock Shadow". Often compared to Travis Tritt and Eric Church. Running the gamut of emotions from introspective autobiographies to out and out screamin’ party tunes… always telling compelling stories and delivering rich background on every track. Dean still likes to get up a game of street basketball with somes buddies like he used to back in high school, riding through the hills sittting on a creek bank somewhere with his family and friends. But these days you’re more likely to find him in a room with his guitar working on his next favorite song.

Mindy Braasch
PopArtist Bio:
I've grown up in the small town of Athens, Ohio. Athens is home to a whole bunch of wonderful musicians, some of whom I have been fortunate enough to meet. I have an older sister named Marie, and two adorable cats, Cairo and Goshen, who believe that they are the center of the universe. I like to joke that my parents are a bit different, because when their daughter said, “I want to be a rock star,” they actually went along with it! My parents are not in any way typical, but they are also amazing, and I love them so much.
I've been playing piano since I was 5, and writing songs since I was 12. I love writing songs, and I do it constantly. Melodies and lyrics are always in the back of my mind. Songwriting is my way of expressing myself, and I love sharing my music with other people.
