The Honky-Tonk Heroes Band consists of top-notch musicians who have worked alongside some of the true greats of the country music world:
Band leader Monte Good cut his musical teeth in the dance halls of his native Oklahoma, as well as Texas, and upon moving to Nashville played pedal steel guitar, dobro, guitar, and harmonica in the bands of such artists as John Michael Montgomery, Sara Evans, Lila McCann, and Neal McCoy. Working with these performers, he also had the privilege to back up other artists on stage….the likes of Charley Pride, Vince Gill, and others.….guitarist James Mitchell is one of Nashville's busiest session players, playing on albums by such artists as Alabama, Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson, Gene Watson, Jamey Johnson, Ronnie Milsap, and Easton Corbin.....steel guitar player Eddie Lange has played with numerous country artists during his years in Nashville, including time on the Grand Ol’ Opry stage playing for Bill Anderson, a member of the Country Music Hall Of Fame.....fiddler Johnny Carpenter has spent many years on the road performing with Nashville artists such as Tracy Byrd and Mark Chesnutt and many other greats…..bass player Bill Cook has played with numerous artists over the years ranging from Grand Ol’ Opry members like Jim Ed Brown to currently touring with Randy Travis.....and drummer Willie Cantu was an original member of Buck Owens Buckaroos band. Touring and recording with Buck, he played on such classic records as "I've Got A Tiger By The Tail", “Together Again”, and "Cryin' Time"!!!!
