I grew up in a safe, cozy, everybody knows everybody kind of town- Venice, Florida. I started writing and composing music ever since I learned to talk; these masterpieces captured yet safely confided into home videos on VHS in some cabinet back home. Our family has had the same upright piano longer than I’ve been alive and it’s on that bench and with those keys that I discovered my obsession and fascination with music. My parents used to make me play the songs that I wrote for people when they came over, they still do that and I still very much hate that. My dad now confesses listening to me outside my bedroom door when I was learning guitar and trying to figure out how to sing because the moment he came in I was done. I guess I’ve always been very private about my writing… until now. I left the familiar faces that I love dearly in Venice and headed to Nashville so I could share these songs further than my family and our home. I’ve been writing and performing for about seven years now but never have recorded a full length album. When I first moved to Nashville, I immediately recognized it’s warmth and quickly called it home. This full length I am in the process of recording called- “Home” is tied together with the sweet memories and moments here in Nashville, Tennessee. I am beyond bless to get to embark on the adventures and long journey of this project with my dearest friends here in Nashville and so excited to begin sharing a piece of my heart with you.
