Faculty Recital feat Karen Clarke, Brent Wissick & Kathleen McIntoshClassical
An evening of rarely heard baroque music by Dietrich Buxtehude, Johann Schmelzer, Marin Marais, and Arcangelo Corelli.
Brent Wissick is a professor of cello, viola da gamba and early music ensembles at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. A member of Ensemble Chanterelle and the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra, he is a frequent guest with the Dallas Bach Society, Folger Consort, Concert Royal, Smithsonian Consort of Viols, Boston Early Music Festival, and Magnolia Baroque, as well as Wroclaw Baroque in Poland.
Kathleen McIntosh is a member of Serenata of Santa Fe, Santa Fe Pro Musica, and the McFish Duo, which performs and commissions works for viola and harpsichord. She has performed at a variety of international music festivals, including Esteban Salas Festival Havana, Musica Antigua Festival Lima, Deya Festival Mallorca, and Tsuyama Festival Japan.
