Tom Pappas started writting , recording and performing in 1992. Released 10 LPs and 4 EPs with THE USED TO BE, SUPERDRAG , WHIP! , FLESH VEHICLE and ROCK CITY BIRDHOUSE. 20 U.S. tours. 2 European tours. Played The BBC, The Conan O'Brien Show, MTV, The Ryman, Bonnaroo, Red Rocks Colorado, The Filmore East and West. Adam Hill and His Sunday Best came together as Adam Hills backing band to support his record Smoke Trees. They have been playing in Nashville since last Fall but the story doesn't begin there. Adam has been in bands since 1996. His first band Knoxville's The Satellite Pumps were local favorites and given a deal from Bloodshot Records. Unfortunately the band broke up and set Adam on a decade plus of recording demos on his 4 track, living in New York City, moving to Nashville, playing guitar for bands, being sent on wild goose chases by Publishers and starting numerous bands of his own but never settling into anything. Finally in 2009-10 with the help of Steve Mabee and Mark Robertson, engineer and bass player for Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, Adam made his first studio album and since then has set out to share his songs with the world. His music is a mix of Gothic Appalachia, Southern Rock n Roll (not to be confused with Southern Rock) and heart on your sleeve songwriting.

Hurts to Laugh is the Nashville, Tennessee based surf metal duo waging stoner jihad in the rhinestone buckle of the Bible Belt. Emboldened by the success of their single and music video for ’I Tried’, Cliff Cobain and Kurt Burton embarked on cross-country joy rides of epic proportions. Spanning a total of two months, the band won fans in San Francisco, Albuquerque, and Austin by sleeping on couches, blogging countless hours of tour footage, and setting their cymbals on fire. In St Louis they caught the interest of publicist Nicole Madden who passed a demo of their most recently recorded songs to I Hate Punk Rock Records. The band’s second album, music video, and contribution to the label’s annual compilation is due out mid-summer.
