Erin Rae is an Americana musician based in Nashville, Tenn. She grew up in Jackson, Tenn., singing with her parents tunes by Doc Watson, Mississippi John Hurt, John Prine, Nancy Griffith, Merle Haggard, Greg Brown, Kate Wolf, and many, many more. These artists as well as those she discovered on her own (Patty Griffin, Norah Jones, Allison Krauss, Gillian Welch, Feist, Ryan Adams) have continued to inspire her since she began playing guitar and writing her own music in early 2009.
