Jazz Music City is proud to announce our first show of the 2013 season, and it's a big one! Internationlly renowned bassist Rodney Whitaker is returning to Nashville for the first time since touring with Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra in the late 90's! On Saturday, February 2nd, the great bassist will be joined by the Jazz Music City All-Stars featuring Nashville's finest performers - saxophonist Rahsaan Barber, trumpeter Rod McGaha, trombonist Roland Barber, drummer Marcus Finnie and pianist Bruce Dudley! The concert will be held at the Steinway Recital Hall located inside the Steinway Piano Gallery at 4285 Sidco Drive. Doors will open for seating at 7pm and the concert will begin at 7:30pm.
