The Duo Whisky Row hails from The Central Valley of California. A unique place that allowed for a country upbringing in the suburban sprawls of the golden state. Their sound is inspired from country roots, west coast flair, southern soul, with a splash of rock & roll, shaken not stirred. The Singer/Songwriters fans have coined their sound as, "Yallternative".
Like so many they first got their start playing in local honky tonk's paying their dues. Their first big break happened in January of 2010 when they got an opportunity to play at The Historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville TN. Mike and Jason then moved to Nashville in 2010 at the request of some of the industries most established and well respected musician's. By July of 2011 they completed their first full length self-titled CD Whisky Row. All involved with the record have said it is one of the best projects if not the best project they've been a part of. The names they worked with are all on your radio today and have been for the last 20 years.
Whisky Row continues to expand their fan base with a grass roots approach. Touring regionally on the west coast, recently opening for such acts as Alabama, Kip Moore, Sugarland, Jake Owen, Little Big Town, Gloriana, Joe Diffie, Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin, and Mark Wills to name a few. They have independently sold thousands of physical albums, as well as thousands of downloads, and loyal fans adorn their swag.
