Shailee Cole was born and raised in the small town of Leesville, Louisiana. Growing up, she spent most of her time participating in pageants and cheerleading competitions. She was her senior class president, yearbook editor and homecoming queen. It didn’t take long, however, before her passion for music made singing her main focus. By the time she was a sophomore in high school, Shailee was the opening act on Sammy Kershaw’s tour. Since then, she has had the opportunity to open for other country music artists, such as Tracy Lawrence and Craig Morgan.
Shailee has traveled all around the south wowing crowds with her strong, unique voice. She has played festivals across her home state of Louisiana all the way up to Memphis, Tennessee. In 2011, she was featured on Speed 51 for her performance in Pensacola, Florida, where she served as the Miss Snowball Derby Trophy Queen.
Although still in the early stages of her career, Shailee is already beginning to make her mark in music. “She has an innocent charm about her personality and the way she carries herself,” said Beau Richards of Concert Alien. “She has always been a crowd favorite, signing autographs until the last fan is gone. The younger crowd especially has been drawn to her as a role model and she has held true to her good Christian upbringing. A little gal from Louisiana ready for the big lights of Nashville and beyond.”
