A folksy pop singer/songwriter now living in Nashville, TN as a songwriting major at Belmont University, this eighteen year old is flighty, indie soul who enjoys singing about life's wonders. She has been writing since the young age of 10 and playing guitar since she was 14. More recently, she has ventured into the land of the ukes and banjos - a lovely place where new folk songs are being inspired more often than not.
Throughout her music, she expresses the deepest longings of her soul and puts thoughts and hopes to catchy melodies while portraying well, beyond her years knowledge of love and loss.
At 16, she released her first EP, entitled "I'm A Bird". The EP has gained many supporters of her music and in November of this year, she released her second EP. Liza Anne: THE EP will have three songs with a very indie pop feel. Over the course of the two years in between the EP's, Liza has been busy with pursuing her career. Through the countless coffee house gigs, benefit concerts and her time with American Idol, she has grown as a writer, a singer, a performer and as an artist in general.
