In late 2010, Amy Andrews abandoned her path to professional classical vocalist for a dream to play folk music.
The Baltimore-native left the mid-Atlantic with her eyes fixed on carving a spot for herself in Atlanta’s dynamic folk scene, as a singer-songwriter.
Since then, she has received numerous awards, honors, and accolades. She has shared some of folk music's most respected stages and venues with musicians from Rose Cousins to Gregory Alan Isakov, and Nervous But Excited to Joseph Arthur.
Ever the traveling musician, Amy’s schedule is full of performances outside of the south, as well. Recent tours include the Pacific Northwest, Canada, and Alaska, with concerts and festivals in big cities, and long-forgotten gold rush towns.
Amy lives in Decatur, GA, but will always long for Chesapeake Bay.
