Emerging from Europe and the US, countless live performances have solidified Francis' reputation as a solid live act, holding a deep connection with fans and followers from around the world.
Francis' unique polished modern rock sound transcends genres: with roots in folk peppered with classic hard rock riffs and anthemic choruses.
A direct product of the social media music revolution, Francis' debut album, "Circles & Squares" was financed by his international fan-base, raising a $50,000 recording budget. Produced by Steve Bush (Sterophonics, Corinne Bailey Rae, Ronnie Wood) and mastered by Bob Ludwig (U2, Coldplay), "Circles & Squares" consists of 14 superbly constructed tracks, from catchy crowd pleasers (Any Day Now) through to the intense rock single "Higher Ground". The intimate and beautiful "Eternity" shows a unique and melancholy character, songs like "Burn" and "Blood" will stick with you forever.
Francis says of his music:
"I wanted to create a sound of my own: intense, intimate, provoking, meaningful. The songs are a representation of my life and the feelings we all experience, from highs to lows, sadness and joy. I feel like we’ve got it all here, wrapped up a fantastic sonic production."
Similarly to his mixed roots, Francis' musical style represents a fusion of genres with hints of acoustic, folk, pop & rock blended together into a modern contemporary sound. Francis Rodino's music might sit comfortably on the same shelf as bands like Snow Patrol, Goo Goo Dolls, and Matchbox 20.
Live performances have carried Francis's live band throughout Europe, with key performances headlining the Paradiso, Amsterdam, London’s Scala and IndigO2, and Netherland’s Concert at Sea Festival. Francis is currently based in Nashville, TN, working on songwriting collaborations and new material for his follow up album.
