Jeff Coffin - Behind The Looking Glass, plus performance

Jazz

Multi-Grammy Award-winning saxophonist/composer and NJW faculty member Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band, Béla Fleck & the Flecktones, Jeff Coffin & the Mu'Tet) is a force of nature on the saxophone, but he is also a passionate and gifted photographer. In his words:

"I enjoy capturing a moment that moves me so I can share it with others. I feel I get really lucky sometimes and the shot seems to present itself. For me, taking pictures is a lot like musical improvisation in that they both contain those beautiful elements of surprise & the unexpected."

NJW is proud to be hosting "Behind The Looking Glass," an exhibit of Jeff's original photographs, with an opening on Sunday, March 3 from 3-6pm. The event is free and open to the public and will feature a live performance by Jeff Coffin & the Mu'Tet, featuring Felix Pastorius on bass, Bill Fanning on trumpet/space trumpet, Chris Walters on keys, and very special guest Roy “Futureman” Wooten of Bela Fleck & the Flecktones!
