Based out of Nashville, Tennessee, members of The Opposed bring a culmination of styles from their various backgrounds into a unique and progressive, yet accessible sound that is powerful and intense. The groundwork is laid with heavy riffs from guitarist Matt Singleton (with influences like King’s X and Muse) and bassist Cj Wheeler (with influences like As I Lay Dying and Animals As Leaders), punctuated with crafty rhythms tasteful guitar leads by Roland Price (with influences like Adam Jones and Killswitch Engage) Atop this foundation sits drummer Jake Singleton (influenced by Adam Greiner and Oh Sleeper) with intricate but tasteful flare that accentuates the groove set by the guitars.
