St. Patrick's Day Celebration feat. El Rick Haun & Richie

Pop/Rock
Nashville Scene Critic's Pick …

Strap on your barfin’ hat because it’s time for the only St. Patrick’s Day party that really matters: the return of El Rick Haun! While most memories of El Rick Haun shows are shrouded in a cloak of mystery and a veil of intrigue (read: cheap booze), we can tell you that the surrealist rock ’n’ roll fantasy world from which Haun emerges once a year makes some righteous tuneage. Who doesn’t dust off Ye Olde MySpace and start singing along with such late-Aughts Nashville classics as “Lil Buckled Shoes” or “The Scrolls” to themselves once the calendar flips to March? Who doesn’t relish the annual exchange of Roy the Roosterman bobbleheads and the traditional mutton-fest that symbolizes the regrowth of Chris Crofton’s arm? It certainly beats another year spent pretending you enjoy the Chieftains and cabbage.
