Interview and Performance: Terri Clark
Terri Clark became a popular country star in the 1990s with the Top Five hits "Better Things to Do," "When Boy Meets Girl," "Poor, Poor Pitiful Me," "Now That I Found You," and "You're Easy on the Eyes." Her contemporary musical style and preference for cowboy hats, jeans, and boots aligned her with the largely male "hat act" movement. A Canadian who was discovered while performing regularly at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge in downtown Nashville, Clark continues to record and perform. Her latest album, Classic, was released in November 2012. Presented in conjunction with the Museum's new spotlight exhibit Terri Clark: Canadian Country Star. Presented in support of Artober Nashville. Visit ArtoberNashville.com for more information. See Program Pass guidelines for admission to this program.
